Come Home To St Mary's Court for Those Retirement Years
St Mary’s Court is an opportunity for you to become a Resident in a high quality apartment, designed for retirement living, on the South Wales Coastline.
St Mary’s is set in a quiet residential area off Stepney Road in the lovely sea-side town of Burry Port, which is west of Swansea and east of Carmarthen on the South West Coast of Wales. It is a short walk (approx. 3 mins) to the shops on the sea- facing ‘front’ and the railway station. St Mary’s is a complex of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments that were built in 2008 to a high standard, designed for people in their retirement years.
The objective of St Mary’s is to have Residents living independent lives, and to provide support to enable the Residents to feel supported and comfortable at all times. Each week, the communal areas of the building are cleaned and the refuse area is sorted out. Any snagging issues are then addressed and fixed. There are regular fire safe and engineering checks to support safety. We also support new Residents with transfer of gas, electric, water, council tax and other moving in challenges.
Residents comment about quiet, comfortable living, in warm, bright apartments, with very moderate and predictable charges for heat, light and cooking.
We are proud of our community.
Burry Port is a small picturesque Town situated on the SW coast of Wales, best known for the landing of Amelia Earhart on June 18th 1928, as she was the first woman to every fly across the Atlantic, in her seaplane ‘Friendship’. The commemoration of this is just along the road from St Mary’s Court!
Burry Port is 4 miles from Llanelli, on the mouth of the River Loughor, home of the famous ‘Scarlets’ rugby team. Llanelli has a pleasant shopping centre and is famous also for the hub of the Millennium Coastal Park. Burry Port is 15 miles west of Swansea and 15 miles east of Carmarthen, which is the administrative town of the area.
